Classes are now available in two levels!
Classes Available:
Beginner (Suggested for K-3rd): Students in this class will learn the fundamental rules of chess. This includes learning piece movement, piece values, check and checkmate. Students will be introduced to advance rules like en passant, castling and basic chess tactics.
Advance (Suggested for 3rd - 5th): Students in this class will learn advance rules, intermediate tactics and common checkmates. This includes en passant, piece promotion, stalemate, chess notation, forks, pins, skewers, discovered attacks, and common checkmates like Scholar's Mate, Smothered Mate or Ladder Mate. Students chess mastery will be challenged.
First Day in Class: February 1st
Last Day in Class: May 16th
